Is permanent makeup painful?Everybody has a different level of pain tolerance, but most clients are completely comfortable and relaxed during the appointment. You may feel slight discomfort, but the results will far outweigh this. A highly effective numbing solution is applied before and during the treatment to keep you feeling as comfortable as possible.
-
How long does permanent make up last?Clients skin type plays the biggest role in longevity and the general outcome of the procedure. Oily skin may heal softer with a powder finish while drier skin types may heal more crips and defined. Darker pigments tend to last longer. Proper UVA and UVB protection will prevent color from fading as quickly when in sunny climates. In general, most cosmetic tattoos last 1 to 3 years.
-
How long does the healing process take for permanent makeup?Every person heals differently, but the average healing period is 1-2 weeks. However, true results will be visible in 4-6 weeks after the procedure.

What is Inkless Stretch Marks Rejuvenation (ISR)?Inkless Stretch Marks Rejuvenation is a non-invasive skin treatment that helps the skin repairs itself using a medical grade serum and vitamins inserted under the skin using tiny needles. The products introduced to the area encourage collagen production along with elastin and melanocytes. The skin becomes smoother and firmer with a return of the natural skin tone. NOTE: Stretch marks scars will not completely go away. ISR can improve the appearance and texture of the area being treated. Most people can see improvement of 50-100% even after just one session.
-
Who Is a Good Candidate for Inkless Stretch Marks Rejuvenation? All ages, ethnicities are potential ISR patients. IRS can be done on any stretch mark on the body. Stretch marks should not be red, pink, or purple, which indicate it is still healing. Once formed, stretch marks take about one year to heal, unless there is still weight gain happening in which case you need to wait until the stretch marks are healed and WHITE in color. You do not need to be untanned to do the treatment.
-
Who should not do the Inkless Stretch Marks Revision?Pregnant women. Chronic skin conditions, infections, or skin cancer in the area being treated. Prone to keloid scars (raised dark scars. Are genetic, particularly common in people of African descent). Prone to hyperpigmentation. Recent use of Accutane (no Accutane for 6 months prior to treatment). If your stretch marks are significantly darker than the surrounding skin.
-
Does it hurt?It all depends on your pain tolerance but most of my clients say it doesn't hurt at all. No numbing cream is used during the procedure so it's pretty safe to say it's painless.
-
Can this work on all skin tones?Yes, this procedure will work for all skin tones with certain precautions recommended for high Fitzpatrick scale clients. If you are tanned it's no problem as we are not color matching!
-
Should you do a Patch Test?If you are a Fitz 4/5/6, or you think you are prone to keloid scarring, or hyperpigmentation, then we may require you to do a patch test. The purpose of the patch test is to determine if PIH (Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation) is an outcome; and further determine if the PIH protocol will allow for desired results.
-
How do you know if you have hyperpigmentation?Usually, dark marks will appear after you have pimples, scratches, or other injury with hyperpigmentation as part of your healing process.

What is the healing process?Immediately after your treatment, the area will be red and a little swollen – a typical result after such a procedure. After a week or two, the area will settle as it begins to heal. How soon you’ll see results will depend on how your body responds to the treatment, but you should see results in around 40 to 60 days.
-
How many sessions do I need?Session outcomes vary from client to client. On average, clients typically undergo between 1 to 4 treatment sessions. It's quite common to observe a significant improvement of up to 50-100% after just the initial session. There is a 6 weeks healing time between sessions. On darker skin types you may need 3-6 months between sessions due to hyperpigmentation.
-
How long does an ISR session take? The duration of an ISR session depends on the size and severity of the area being treated. Generally, a session can last anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours.
-
How should I prepare to my ISR appointment?Do not drink coffee, alcohol, or energizing drinks 24 hours before the treatment. Do not take Ibuprofen, Motrin, Advil 48 hours before treatment.
